Bamboo flooring from Style Australasia installed at Parsons Brinkerhoff

    A recent Green Star compliant project for Parsons Brinckerhoff at Freshwater Place in Melbourne’s Southbank features bamboo flooring from Style Australasia . The Style Uniclic floating bamboo floor was selected due to its strong environmental credentials.
    The team at Incorp Design were the creative thrust behind the office design, and after a rigorous environmental review process they were able to substantiate the ‘green’ credentials claimed by Style to satisfy the requirements for 100% Green Star points as awarded by the Green Building Council of Australia. Style is eco-certified bamboo flooring.
    The client’s requirements for a Green Star compliant fit-out drove the designers specify products that could be supported by verified independent (third party) certification.
    According to Parsons Brinckerhoff, “Sustainability is not treated as an ‘add-on’ but an integral part of our business. For this reason sustainability does not fall under one capability or service. Instead it permeates all we do.”
